By accessing this website (Hostalacuariuspuno.com) and staying at Hostal Acuarius Puno, you accept the following terms and conditions without limitation.
1. Rates
- Published rates are valued per night of accommodation.
- Special or promotional rates are valid only when booking online through our website.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice until confirmation.
- Rates and payments are made in US Dollars (USD). Payment in local currency (Soles) is allowed based on the daily exchange rate.
2. Reservations & Deposits
- Reservations can be made via the website, Call Center (+51-775993), or WhatsApp (+51 944 278 647).
- Confirmation: A reservation is only considered confirmed after a Warranty Deposit is made. Otherwise, it is merely a request.
- Deposit Amount: A deposit equivalent to half a night's stay (or 1 night on holidays) is required. For special offers, the deposit is 50%.
- The remaining balance is paid upon Check-in.
- Proof of deposit must be sent to: hostalacuariuspunoqAa@gmail.com.
- Inquiries about reservations are answered within a maximum of 2 business days.
3. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: From 11:00 a.m.
- Check-out: Until 10:30 a.m.
- Departures after 10:30 a.m. will be subject to an additional night's charge.
- It is mandatory to present an ID, Passport, or Alien Registration Card for all occupants, including children and visitors.
- Minors: May only enter with responsible guardians and, if not their parents, with notarized authorization.
- Visitors: Maximum 30 minutes and must be properly identified.
4. Payments
- A credit/debit card or bank deposit is required to secure the reservation.
- Credit card information is used confidentially only to process payment.
- If you choose "Pay on arrival", your reservation is NOT guaranteed and is considered only a booking intention.
- Bank transfers are accepted with prior notice.
5. Changes, Cancellations & No-Show
- Changes are subject to availability.
- Free Cancellation: Allowed without cost up to 48 hours before check-in (except for promotions with special conditions).
- Late Cancellation Penalty: If the 48h deadline is not met, the cancelled nights will be charged.
- No-Show: If the guest does not show up without prior notification, a penalty of the first 2 nights will be automatically charged.
- High Season/Holidays: Cancellations require 15 days notice (penalty: 1 night). In low season (2-5 days prior), the penalty is 1 night.
6. Hostel Services
- Complimentary: WiFi throughout the hotel and luggage storage (until departure/arrival time).
- Additional Cost: Parking (Garage), Laundry (per item/kg), Transportation (coordinate 24h in advance), and Tours.
- The hotel is not responsible for money, jewelry, or valuables left in the room. It is recommended to leave them in custody at the reception.
- Lost items are kept for 30 calendar days; after this period, the hotel will dispose of them.
7. Damage to Property
- The guest must cover costs for damages not considered natural wear and tear. Penalties in Soles (S/.):
- S/. 100.00: For damage to linen (sheets, duvet, pillows).
- S/. 300.00: For damage to carpets, furniture, and objects.
- S/. 1000.00: For damage to the mattress.
8. Restrictions & Conduct
- We are not Pet Friendly.
- Prohibited to bring own bedding (pillows, sheets).
- Prohibited to bring electrical appliances for cooking/heating. The hotel may retain these items.
- No Smoking: According to Law N° 29517, smoking is prohibited in rooms. Penalty: 1 night accommodation or cancellation of stay.
- Entry of unregistered persons and possession/consumption of drugs is prohibited.
- Orderly conduct is expected so as not to disturb other guests. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation immediately upon conduct violations.
- Smart TV: The guest is responsible for logging out of their platforms before leaving.
9. Right of Refusal (Persona Non Grata)
Service may be denied and a person declared NON GRATA for:
- Leaving without paying for consumption or debts.
- Registering with false information or identity theft.
- Use of counterfeit money or documents.
- Aggression, threats, harassment, or theft within the hotel.
- Entering with minors without authorization or unidentified companions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Peru.
